Our Facility
Our training facility located at the Tollbar Business Park in Stacksteads, Bacup occupies the entire third floor of an old mill and is a completely self contained unit. We have recently carried out some refurbishments to our female and male changing rooms and have also installed a state of the art heating system which heats the gym in winter and cools it in summer allowing our members to train in the best possible conditions.
We are fortunate to have a spacious floor area in the main part of the unit, this enables as to train large numbers of students at any one lesson. We have a large training area with a further two smaller ones, all with padded floors. Having more than one area gives the instructors the opportunity to split lessons into smaller working groups.
Within the main hall we have specific training equipment available to our instructors and students these include speedballs, punch bags, focus pads, wave masters and a full size boxing ring. All the necessary personal equipment including head guards, gloves, foot and shin pads are provided for new members to use. After sometime we do expect new members to purchase their own equipment, this can be done from our own pro shop.
To keep students refreshed we have a water cooler providing cold water at all times, Male and Female toilets are located on the floor below and are accessible by the main stairway.
